Some members of Cabinet are guilty of fraud - Harshana
Some of the members in the new Cabinet are those who are have been found guilty by the special presidential commission which probed into serious frauds, UNP MP Harshana Rajakaura alleged yesterday.
Mr Rajakaruna told a media briefing that even the new Prime Minister has been allegedly found guilty of failing to make due payment of Rs 100 million to a state TV channel.
“Former Ministers Basil Rajapaksa, Minister Wimal Weerawansa and Former Defence Secretary have also been allegedly found guilty by the presidential commission,” Mr. Rajakaruna said.
This is despite President Sirisena telling the foreign media that he will appoint a presidential commission to look into the frauds of UNP
