WMO Global Youth Wing Far East Chapter Memon Futsal Tournament on December 2

A number of teams of the Memon Community comprising of Junior and Senior teams, will participat­e in the third consecutiv­e WMO Global Youth Wing Far East Chapter Memon Futsal Tournament to be played at the Futsal World Indoor Courts, Darley Road on December 2 from 8am. The teams are as follows: Group A: United Kickers, Gunners FC, Renegades

Group B: Flamingo FC, Futsal Amigos and Misfits

Group C: Colombo

Knight Riders, Rebels and 8 Containers

Group D: M Boys, United Amigos and Flamingo United

Junior Teams: United Sixers, Predators, Flamingo Juniors, Liverpool FC, Manchester Memon’s, Forza Sevens, Seven Buddies, The Legends, Memon Knight Riders, Super 8’s

The tournament will be conducted on a league basis and at the end of the league stage the first two teams will play in the cup semi-finals and the teams placed third

and fourth will vie for the plate championsh­ip.

The Cup Champions will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with a trophy and the runner-up will receive Rs. 30,000 and a trophy.

The Plate Champions and the runner-up will get cash prizes of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 15,000 respective­ly, along with trophies.

Special trophies for the Best Player and the Best Goalkeeper are also on offer.
