WMO Global Youth Wing Far East Chapter Memon Futsal Tournament on December 2
A number of teams of the Memon Community comprising of Junior and Senior teams, will participate in the third consecutive WMO Global Youth Wing Far East Chapter Memon Futsal Tournament to be played at the Futsal World Indoor Courts, Darley Road on December 2 from 8am. The teams are as follows: Group A: United Kickers, Gunners FC, Renegades
Group B: Flamingo FC, Futsal Amigos and Misfits
Group C: Colombo
Knight Riders, Rebels and 8 Containers
Group D: M Boys, United Amigos and Flamingo United
Junior Teams: United Sixers, Predators, Flamingo Juniors, Liverpool FC, Manchester Memon’s, Forza Sevens, Seven Buddies, The Legends, Memon Knight Riders, Super 8’s
The tournament will be conducted on a league basis and at the end of the league stage the first two teams will play in the cup semi-finals and the teams placed third
and fourth will vie for the plate championship.
The Cup Champions will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with a trophy and the runner-up will receive Rs. 30,000 and a trophy.
The Plate Champions and the runner-up will get cash prizes of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively, along with trophies.
Special trophies for the Best Player and the Best Goalkeeper are also on offer.
