SOLID, BLUE STAR, UP COUNTRY LIONS WIN STAGE FOUR

Solid SC, Blue Star SC and Up Country Lions recorded victories in the fourth stage of the Dialog Champions League Football Tournament, which is being conducted by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.

Two games ended in draws namely, Red Star vs Navy Sea Hawks and Air Force vs Pelicans. RESULTS:

New Youngs FC vs Solid SC (Albert F Peiris Stadium, Wennappuwa)

Solid SC defeated New Youngs by 3-1. S. Gnanaruban scored two goals in the 78th minute and at the 84th minute and M.K.G.S. Prabodh scored a goal in 32nd minute for Solid. K.S. Jayalath scored a goal in 52nd minute for New Youngs.

Sri Lanka Air Force SC vs Pelicans SC (Air Force Ground, Ekala)

The match ended in a 2-2 draw. The goal scorers were H.M.J. Chamod (24th minute), H.A. Darko (90+5th minute) for Pelicans and P.A.J. Fernando (45+1st minute), Kavindu Ishan (79th minute) for Sri Lanka Air Force. Lakmal Gunasinghe received a red card in 90+3rd minute for Sri Lanka Air Force.

Blue Star SC vs Java Lane SC (Vernon Fernando Stadium, Kalutara)

Blue star defeated Java Lane 3-1. U.I. Chimezie, E. Chigozie and M.S.M. Farhad scored goals in 22nd, 29th and 62nd minutes for Blue Star. Naveen Jude scored a goal in 47th minute for Java Lane.

Up Country Lions SC vs Crystal Palace FC (Jayathilaka Stadium, Nawalapitiya)

Up Country defeated Crystal Palace 3-0. M.R.M. Faizal scored a goal in 13th minute and John Evans scored two goals in the 43rd minute and in the 60th minute for Up Country Lions.

Red Star FC vs Navy Sea Hawks FC (Vernon Fernando Stadium, Kalutara)

The match ended in a 2-2 draw. G.I. Hameed and N.C.M. Rahman scored two goals in the 28th and 45+2nd minutes for Red Star. M.A.M. Sahil and E.A.C. Sanjeewa scored goals in 46th minute and in the 86th minute for Navy Sea Hawks.
