An exclusive showcase of magical talents

For those of you who think that magic is all about taking a bunny out of a hat, Knight of

Illusions will prove you wrong. The brainchild of Yasas Gunaratne also known as Knight of Illusions, this platform has provided numerous opportunit­ies for budding talents as of late. From mind games to cards, Rubik’s Cube and moving ink today’s young performers have found an interest in this art. While it not only relaxes your mind, it also gets one to think out of the box. Magic has been a lesser known form of entertainm­ent which was ideal for children back in the day, but it has transforme­d into a form of entertainm­ent at corporate level.

At the recently concluded Knight of Illusions exclusive show, Yasas along with internatio­nal award winning magician and illusionis­t Danny

Cole mesmerised the audience with his balloon and hangar tricks. Also showcasing their talents were Sri Lanka’s Got Talent finalists

Arun Molly and Thilina D’cyfer who tricked the audience with their card and Rubik’s Cube tricks respective­ly. In fact Thilina can do seven arrangemen­ts of the Rubik’s Cube in 0.5 seconds! Budshana Kalapuge quite interestin­gly used Siri as his assistant and performed his tricks with some comedy attached to it.
