SLC elections on February 7
The election of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) office bearers will be conducted on February 7, the learns.
The understands that letters have been sent to clubs issuing notice about the date of the election, and have also been informed that nominations will be entertained from December 14 and would close on December 17.
The deadline for filing objections is December 31, with the objections been heard by the three-member Election Committee over the two following days.
Last month, the general membership of SLC appointed the three-member Election Committee consisting of Justice Chandra Jayatillake (Retired Appeal Court Judge), Justice I. M. Abeyratne (Retired High Court Judge) and Sunil Sirisena (Retired Secretary of the Ministry of Education).
