SLT to power two more Capital Trust apartment complexes with fibre connectivi­ty

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) entered into a partnershi­p with Capital Trust Properties (Pvt) Ltd., the trusted partner in real estate to power two new apartment complexes with SLT’S superior fibre connectivi­ty as the digital services provider.

This partnershi­p will entail SLT to provide the fibre infrastruc­ture for the 29 apartments at the (Capital Trust Residencie­s- Kotte) and 32 apartments at the (Capital Trust Residencie­s - Thibirigas­yaya) located at Ethul Kotte and Thimbiriga­syaya Road, Colombo 05 respective­ly.

The agreement between the two companies was signed at an official function held at SLT Premises, Colombo Fort recently. The signatorie­s on behalf of Capital Trust Properties comprised of Thushan Wicramasin­ghe (Chairman/ceo), Minoli Wicramasin­ghe (Director) while from SLT’S side, Kiththi Perera (Chief Executive Officer), Imantha Wijekoon (Chief Sales Officer) were the authorized signatorie­s. The agreement signing was also attended by other officials from both Capital Trust and SLT who were involved in the project. SLT will be powering both the apartment complexes with the company’s robust and reliable fibre-to-thehome infrastruc­ture that will provide residents with ultrafast internet connectivi­ty with download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, crystal clear voice communicat­ions as well as access to high definition (HD) TV content via PEO TV. SLT’S superior ICT services will pave the way to revolution­ize the digital lifestyle experience of the residents in the two buildings.

Capital Trust Properties (Pvt) Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of Capital Trust Holdings Limited. It entered the financial services industry as a stock broking firm in 1991.
