CCC to hold annual budget seminar on March 7
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will organize its annual National Budget seminar for 2019 on March 7. The seminar serves as an important opportunity to understand what key policy changes in the Budget for 2019 will impact the aspirations of the business community.
Eran Wickramaratne, State Minister of Finance & Mass Media will deliver the keynote address which will be followed by a presentation on the ‘Salient Features of the Government Budget 2019 from a tax perspective’ by Charmaine Tillekeratne, Director, Pricewater housecoopers Lanka (Private) Limited.
Following the presentation, a panel discussion with Minister Wickramaratne, Charmaine Tillekeratne, Director, Pricewater housecoopers, Deshal De Mel, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance & Mass Media and Nilanthi Sivapragasam, CFO, Aitken Spence Group, will take place where they will share their perspective on the National Budget.
Duminda Hulangamuwa, Chairman, Tax Committee of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce & Head of Tax Services & Partner, Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, will present the opening remarks and will also moderate the panel discussion.
