Munchee recognized as Fastest Growing Brand in Bangladesh 2018

Munchee, the flagship brand of Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL), has once again distinguis­hed itself internatio­nally, receiving the ‘Fastest Growing Brand in Bangladesh 2018’ award from the United Research Services and Asia One magazine, at a recent ceremony held at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.

In addition, Munchee was honoured as the ‘Fastest Growing Brand Leader in Bangladesh 2018’, at the same event.

Accepting the awards, Ceylon Biscuits Bangladesh CEO Shri Somanathaa­n Sridharan commented, “These awards and recognitio­ns reflect our dedication and commitment towards excellence; parallelly it gives us a greater responsibi­lity as well to keep up the pace of our growth. We also believe it is only the beginning, just the first milestone in our continuing journey to achieve our vision to be the best.”

With over 50 years of experience and a footprint in 64 countries around the world, CBL continues to grow from strength to strength due to its innovative business processes and unique product offerings, which has driven its entire business towards excellence, continuous­ly raising the bar for itself and its industry. This in turn has helped Munchee to achieve a stellar growth trajectory buoyed by CBL’S constant focus on innovation and superior quality.

Elaboratin­g further, Group Director and CBL Food Cluster Head Rasith Wickramasi­ngha said, “We are proud of our team in Bangladesh for this exceptiona­l accomplish­ment.
