Trends in wedding rings to inspire

-

You’ve never spent so much time shopping for jewellery – you’ve hardly got that sparkling diamond on your finger when it’s time to shop for your wedding ring! If you’re not sure what to buy here are the latest trends in wedding rings to inspire you.

INDIVIDUAL BANDS

Most brides and grooms are choosing wedding rings that bands reflect your unique personalities and styles. The idea of the bride and groom wearing matching wedding bands is a little old fashioned, and unless you are blessed with exactly the same tastes one of you would have to compromise to do so. If possible try to find just one element in your rings to pair up like the material, engraving, or a decorative element.

COLOURED GEMS

Birth stones like emerald, amethyst and sapphire are a good way to personalise your ring, and yellow or white diamonds together with pink sapphires are a step outside the box. For brides wanting stones in their wedding bands, coloured gems are ever growing in popularity. If white diamonds are still your favourite stone, try trendy pave diamonds.

VINTAGE BRIDAL RINGS

If you don’t happen to own a handy family heirloom that you love, find jewellers selling second hand jewellery, or go after a new ring design with vintage inspiration. All things vintage are fashionable in the wedding industry and wedding bands are no exception.

STACKED RINGS

Wedding bands can be made up of two or three rings of unique materials or colours, worn together on the same finger, and piling multiple rings one on top of another is a fashionable style. This principle can be utilised with engagement and wedding rings – and even eternity rings – which can be created to fit together on the finger resembling a single band.
