The mutually beneficial partnership will combine Gensoft’s expertise and in-depth knowledge across a wide range of technology solutions, with Cofense’s market leading platform, to help protect organisations from advanced email threats.

Cofense’s incident response and phishing threat intelligence solutions enable security operations and incident response teams to respond quickly to threats in real-time, thereby reducing the risk of security breaches. Cofense’s intelligence-driven solutions engages the employee to be an active line of defence and a human threat detector by enabling them to recognise and report phishing attacks, malware, and other surrounding threats.

“With the ever increasing threat of cyber attacks it is important that companies take adequate steps to safeguard themselves from attacks that target employees. Cofense enables us to make our weakest link the strongest line of defence,” stated Gensoft Managing Director Nilanka Pieris. “We have just managed to bring in that extra layer of security to our digital landscape.”

“Collaboration with IT security industry leaders like Gensoft extends our ability to provide phishing defence services to a very large number of customers,” explained Cofense Global Channel Sales VP Robert Lannicello. “Through our partnership, we can help organisations in Sri Lanka and neighbouring countries leverage the power of human intelligence to proactively respond to and neutralise sophisticated attacks targeting employees.”

During the next few months Gensoft plans to roll out the entire suite of Cofense products in Sri Lanka and thereby secure companies from the ever increase threat of phishing attacks.
