Infor Sri Lanka celebrates ten years of operations

-

Infor Sri Lanka (formerly known as GT Nexus Services), celebrated their tenth year of operations at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo recently.

Infor Sri Lanka is a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Infor (US), the world’s largest cloud-based business network and execution platform for global trade and supply chain management.

Infor (US) is a global leader in business cloud software for enterprises in industry specific markets. With 17,300 employees and over 68,000 customers in more than 170 countries, Infor software is designed to overcome market-disruptions and achieve business-wide digital transformation.

In 2015, Infor acquired GT Nexus allowing all its network participants to operate on a set of real time information across supply chains, enabling a steady and optimized flow of goods, funds and trade information from the point of order through to final payment.

Infor Sri Lanka was set up as a dedicated software development and service center exclusively for Infor and its global clientele in the year 2009. Since its inception, the company has expanded significantly and continues its rapid progress powered by over 200 team members including some of the best talent in the local IT landscape.

Commenting on this milestone, Richard Tan Managing Director of Infor Sri Lanka stated, “We started building up the Sri Lanka team with intellectually challenging work ten years ago. Over the years, we were able to retain talent with low attrition and a culture that employees feel good about. Here’s to more good years.”
