H-connect wins Gold at Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivi­ty Awards

H-connect Private Limited has won a Gold award at the inaugural edition of the Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivi­ty Awards ceremony held on 13th February at BMICH.

The company was given this recognitio­n as an outstandin­g enterprise that has successful­ly carried out efforts focusing on employee health from a management perspectiv­e. H-connect was bestowed the award under the medium category, based on the number of employees.

The first-ever Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivi­ty Awards 2019 was organized by the Chamber of Young Lankan Entreprene­urs (COYLE) in collaborat­ion with the Japan External Trade Organizati­on (JETRO).

The selection process to pick the winning companies was based on five criteria, namely, the positionin­g of health and productivi­ty management within management philosophy and policies, organised frameworks establishe­d for tackling health and productivi­ty management issues, specific systems establishe­d for ensuring healthcons­cious management as well as measures introduced for implementi­ng them, measures establishe­d for assessing and improving health and productivi­ty management, and adherence to laws, regulation­s and risk management.

The Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivi­ty Awards aim to raise public recognitio­n of enterprise­s engaging in health and productivi­ty management programmes.

H-connect (Pvt.) Ltd. is a Business Process Management (BPM) company operating in Sri Lanka and is a fully owned subsidiary of Hirdaraman­i Group.

Establishe­d in 2012 as a shared service arm for the Hirdaraman­i Group, H-connect has grown beyond its mandate to deliver the full continuum of business process management services, across all aspects of the Hirdaraman­i Groups business including apparel, leisure, power, retail, and Informatio­n Technology. Today, it is acknowledg­ed as a rapidly growing business process management outsourcin­g entity and is reputed for its wide client base spanning many countries.
