Sudham Dewaraja wins CTC Chairman’s Award

The Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC) recently bestowed the company’s highest honour, the Chairman’s Award, upon Sudham Dewaraja, the Strategic Planning & Insights Manager.

The award is presented each year in recognitio­n of outstandin­g personal contributi­on to the growth and developmen­t of the business. In 2018, Sudham led a project to understand market needs that would shape the way the company conducts its business for the next 10 years.

“Winning the Chairman’s Award was a proud moment for me and I am honoured that my efforts have been recognized in this manner,” said Sudham. “I am also extremely proud that I was able to lead this project, which will reshape the way we develop our plans for the future. I believe that the work we have done will help us meet BAT’S vision of satisfying consumer moments.

“I would like to thank my Marketing colleagues for their support during this past year, which helped me to successful­ly deliver this piece of work and I believe that the results of this research will support the marketing team to deliver bigger and better results in the future.”
