What a brilliant idea! We have lost our values in the past decades due to war and several other factors, and yes we need to bring back those values. Rukshan Perera is preparing for his annual concert for the 9th straight year - Rukshan Perera Live

In Concert IX to be held at Bishop's College Auditorium on Mar 10th at 7pm. The tickets are now on sale at Bishop's College, Commons and Harpo's Pita Kotte.

Rukshan, a multiinstrumentalist /composer/singer will entertain the audience with his creative compositions together with Clifford Richards, Colombo Brass Ensemble, Pestantia Chorale,

Choro Calibre, and others. This year he has many new songs for his fans who enjoy Rukshan's creative compositions year after year.

A vibrant song they performed at the International Music Festival in Denmark will be brought to light. All Bohemian Rhapsody fans will be thrilled to hear Rukshan's cleverly composed Nursery

Rhapsody (a musicians' favourite). Jazz lovers will be thrilled when Rukshan does his signature Scatting to a brand new composition with a big band arrangement using a brass section and violins - this is something unique for any music fan! It will be a treat to see Rukshan showcasing his talents in a variety of styles on guitar, piano and other. Of course Rukshan's concerts never fail to entertain the audience with some fun songs, and yes he has some new creations!

Rukshan's concerts are always for a deserving cause, and this year all proceeds will go to the Rotary

Club of Colombo Metropolitan for “Little Minds Strong Values” project to teach Ethics & Values to children through video animated songs. The DVD was launched on Feb 21st and the club is now preparing for the 2nd phase to distribute the DVDS free of charge to schools around the country. Several songs from the DVD will be showcased at the concert. This DVD is not for sale, but an exception will be made to sell it only at the concert.
