Favourites advance to pre quarters

Vidyaloka MV, Galle along with Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte and C. W. W. Kannangara MMV, Matugama prevailed in their respective Under19 Division Three pre quarter-final playoff matches which concluded at Galle, Kotte and Matugama yesterday.

Vidyaloka MV coasted to an easy five-wicket win over President’s College, Maharagama while Ananda Sastralaya and C. W. W. Kannangara MMV recorded first innings wins against Hindu College, Jaffna and St. Thomas’, Kotte respectively.

At Galle (Vidyaloka MV won by five wickets)
