PIM alumni demystifies digital risk myopia on digital disruption in financial services
‘Demystifying Risk Myopia in Digital Disruption in Financial Services’ was organized as a part of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme of PIMA’S event calendar.
PIMA has been actively involved in various academic/professional development programs and carrying out social activities, over the past two decades. This programme on ‘Demystifying Risk Myopia in Digital Disruption in Financial Services. The program focused mainly on reducing or eliminating the gap in risk management.
The event was well attended with a full house, from disciplines such as Risk Management, Finance & Audit in the sectors Banking & Finance, as well as the top Corporates Leaders (both PIMA and non PIMA). This event was held at Hotel Kingsbury, Colombo. The forum featured two keynotes by Deputy General Manager - Risk and Chief Risk Officer of Hatton National Bank –Damith Pallewatte and Group Director and CEO of CICRA Holdings, Boshan Dayaratne respectively. The duo joined Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Commercial Bank, Sanath Manatunge, and Vice President of Dialog Axiata Plc Digital Services, Fariq Cader for a panel discussion moderated by the Editor of Daily FT Nisthar Cassim. Industry insights shared by the key note speakers, followed by the interactive panel discussions with experts in the industry, added much value to the evening which ended up with fellowship & cocktails.
