THE NEW ‘REEFS’ COLLECTION
Celebrity Bollywood actress and longstanding CJS Brand Ambassador; Jacqueline Fernandez was in town to pay a special visit to the Colombo Jewellery Stores outlet at Dutch Hospital for the unveiling of a new collection titled ‘Reefs’.
The new collection is an added range to the ‘Ocean Blues’ collection. Certain to please all fans of CJS, this new collection highlights the beauty of coral reefs in all its splendour. The intricate nature of the designs are a reflection of the complex ecosystems borne by them. Crafted in gold and white gold using citrines, amethysts, sapphires, emeralds, rubies and pearls; some even set with diamonds and gemstones of varied shapes, the ‘Reefs’ collection is colourful and diverse, much like the vibrant marine life that make ocean coral reefs their habitat. An array of breath-taking Blue Sapphires and Gems are also part of this new range, showcasing CJS’S craftsmanship abilities that go beyond the design of intricate pieces of jewellery, to the shaping of fine-cut precious stones as well. The inspiration behind this new collection is the urgent need for the conservation of coral reefs around our island coast, invaluable in their contribution to a balanced ecosystem.
