Seylan Bank bags five accolades at SLIM NASCO 2019
The Sales Team of Seylan Bank won five accolades at SLIM NASCO Awards 2019, back to back for the seconded consecutive year.
The team brought home three Silver awards, one Bronze award and one Merit under the categories of Front Liner, Sales Executive, Territory Manager, National Sales Manager and Sales Administration, respectively.
The sales force is a key pillar of every organisation and its growth. Seylan Bank believes in building a solid corporate environment that supports growth and encourages drive amongst sales teams. Consistent knowledge sharing and training sessions, performance-based progression within sales teams and other divisions internally, give the team a sense of achievement.
Seylan’s sales force is the youngest in the industry, formed in the year 2015. The team has been able to achieve their fullest potential within a very short period of time, assuring the organisation of a solid future with progress.

The ceremony awarded Bronze to Mark Taylor in the National Sales Manager category, Silver to Alfred Russell in the Territory Manager category, Silver to Prajani Peiris in the Executive/supervisor category, Silver to Wasantha Bandara in the Front Liner category and Merit to Sujani Alwis in the Sales and Administration category.
The SLIM NASCO Awards theme for this year was ‘Excel. Engage. Ensure – Beyond all Limits’. The event was held at the BMICH on October 15, 2019, witnessing the crowning of sales champions from across 22 industries in Sri Lanka. The annual ceremony rewards highperforming individuals for their efforts and achievements in the sales fraternity and provides national-level recognition across all trades.
