NTB Brings Generations Together with Kite-making

-

To celebrate International Children’s and Elders’ day, Nations Trust Bank conducted a widespread initiative to encourage older and younger generations to interact with each other through the once popular activity of kite-making. The Bank published full page ads in newspapers and conducted an extensive campaign on social media as well. The ads provided instructions and assistance for elders and children to come together and build a simple kite using the newspaper paper.

The elders and children who took the time to make kites together were also encouraged to share pictures of their creations with Nations Trust Bank via Whatsapp and Viber. The first 50 kids and the first 50 elders to share their images received Nations Kidz & Nations Prabuddha Accounts in return. The campaign was a resounding success and provided a much needed catalyst for older and younger generations to come together, teach and learn and develop bonds while creating something tangible and fun.

Speaking about the kite-making campaign,

Mr. Sanjaya Senarath – Chief Marketing Officer at Nations Trust Bank said, “We provide banking services that are tailored for both children and senior citizens; namely Nations Kidz and Nations Prabuddha Senior Citizens Accounts.”
