Oppo kicks off first sale for Reno2 F across Sri Lanka

-

Oppo kicked off first sale for the recently launched Oppo Reno2 F on October 19, 2019, at the Liberty Plaza.

The new Reno2 F is powerpacked with photography-enhancing features and a quadcamera setup consisting of a 48-Megapixel Ultra-clear Main Camera, eight-megapixel Wide Angle Lens, two-megapixel Mono Lens, and two-megapixel Portrait Lens.

The first few customers received their phones from Raveen Kanishka and Vinu Siriwardane, two celebrities who had been involved with launch of the new device.

Whilst there was a steady stream of customers and shoppers who enjoyed the opportunity to take selfies with them, all customers were rewarded with Oppo branded goodie bags.

Raveen Kanishka said: “I’ve been an Oppo fan for long - I’m very impressed by what Oppo had to offer with Oppo Reno2 F, a whole array of cuttingedge camera and photography features which really pushes the creative boundary of a user.”

The Reno2 F’s Ultra Dark Mode covers an entire range of different night scenes where if light levels measure below 1 lux, elevating photos beyond naked eye through hardware network-optimised AI noise reduction. While the naked human eye can’t penetrate darkness, with Reno2 F now users can capture stunning scenes such as fireflies at night and candlelight dinners.

Vinu Siriwardane said: “I just love the aesthetic beauty of Reno2 F, the colour scheme and how it feels. Video is a feature I use often and what I’ve really fallen love with Oppo Reno2 F is the super-stable video shooting on the go thanks to ultra steady video.”

Oppo’s industry-leading Ultra Steady Video Mode technology ups the stability of videos, enabling users to capture steady videos while running, skiing, skateboarding, cycling, and more. It’s achieved through an IMU measuring device with a high sampling rate and a hull sensor, equipped with electronic image stabilisation and optical image stabilisation. These compensate users’ shaky shots more accurately, and together with a 60fps frame rate, enhance image stabilisation, fluency, and overall image quality.

The two celebrities joined in a few games and competitions in front of an enthusiastic audience.

On this first sale Oppo Sri Lanka CEO Bob Li said: “The initial response from the Sri Lankan market is overwhelming. Apart from all the photography and cuttingedge camera features, Reno2 F offers the latest in flashcharging technology with Oppo proprietary VOOC flash charging.”

The Oppo Reno2 F features fast and safe VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology using a new VFC algorithm, significantly shortening the final 10 percent of charging time by doubling the trickle charging speed. VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 combines with the Reno2 series’ 4,000mah (Typ) battery to provide users with a much longer-lasting battery.

Priced at Rs.74,990, Reno2 F is available in two colour themes ‘Sky White’ and ‘Lake Green’, and will go on sale now onwards at Abans, Dialog, Singhagiri, Daraz, Oppo authorised dealers and Oppo exclusive showrooms.
