Serendib Flour Mills excels at SLIM NASCO
Serendib Flour Mills, the manufacturers of 7 Star wheat flour in Sri Lanka, took home three awards –two Golds and one Bronze at the recently concluded National Sales Congress (NASCO) 2019 organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).
The two Gold awards were won by Ajith Thanthrige - Area Manager Central/east Region in the category ‘Corporate Sales: Territory Manager’ and Indika Thushara Wijesinghe - Technical Sales Executive in the category ‘Corporate Sales: Support Services’. The Bronze award was won by KHC Sanjeewa - Sales Executive Negombo in the ‘Corporate Sales: Sales Executive’ category.
With over 12 years of experience at Serendib Flour Mills, Ajith Thanthrige has extensive experience serving in areas including Kandy, Matale, Polonnaruwa, Ampara, Dehiattakandiya and Mahiyanganaya. Indika Wijesinghe’s background in the food industry spans over 10 years where he has worked as a Sales Representative, Area Sales Supervisor and Bakery Demonstrator. At the company’s fifth Annual Sales Conference held earlier this year Indika bagged the ‘7 Star Technical Executive of the Year 2018’ award.
K.H.C. Sanjeewa has been part of Serendib Flour Mills since 2007 covering Wattala, Negombo and
Divulapitiya. He was the winner of the coveted “7 Star B2B Sales Executive of the Year” Award at the fifth Annual Sales Conference.
