Dilip keynote speaker at Hotel Show Colombo today

Dillip Rajakarier, Chief Executive Officer, Minor Hotels and COO, Minor Internatio­nal will address the business gathering of senior hoteliers and over 100 general managers on the topic ‘Expectatio­ns of a CEO from General Managers & the Team’ today from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at Hotel Show Colombo 2019 held at the BMICH.

He is a practical leader giving strategic direction to Minor Hotels, which has seen continuous growth in the recent past. Minor Hotels has a portfolio of over 530 properties operating in 53 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and South America. Dillip was Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Orient Express Hotels, Trains & Cruises prior to joining Minor Hotels.

He will focus on delivering opportunit­ies to anyone who currently operates within the hotel and tourism industry or who wants to do business in this sector.

The hospitalit­y industry is the core of the globalizat­ion of internatio­nal business. He will base his seminar on expectatio­ns and delivery of services, work priorities, defining work expectatio­ns and collaborat­ive feedback assessment. During the session, he will also discuss how globalizat­ion will affect the hospitalit­y industry and how they should be prepared and address questions that arise from this changing environmen­t and to develop personal careers within the industry.
