SLASSCOM announced that Sri Lanka has been nominated for a prestigious award by the Global Sourcing Association (GSA). The Delivery Destination of the Year Award was established to champion best practice in sourcing programmes and to recognise and reward delivery destinations that deliver excellent results and value-add to the strategic sourcing industry.

The winner is to be announced at the GSA UK Awards Ceremony on November 27th at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, London.

The evaluation criteria for the award include the country’s approach to differentiation, overall strategic vision for business services delivery, target markets identified and approaches to serve them, focus on skills development and talent management, and approach to building an innovative, collaborative environment. The evaluation also focuses on the country’s growth and performance against targets, focus and commitment to best practices and the contribution to the industry.
