Ricky the dachshund is a pint sized bundle of joy and a loyal member of the household. When he’s not busy playing with the pet cat and rabbit, he can be found engaging in some mischief and some good old fashioned doggy fun!

Through a mutual friend. Q WHAT’S THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME YOU’VE GIVEN?

The name was given in memory of my previous dog who stayed with me for 11 years. Q WHAT’S HIS FAVOURITE THING TO DO?

Play with the pet rabbit and the cat.

Q WHAT ARE MEAL TIMES AND BATH TIMES LIKE?

Morning 6.30 (milk with cerelac), afternoon ( rice meal specially made for him with meat), dinner time pedigree 3/4 bowl. Bath times are once in every 3 or four days depending on the heat andhis shenanigan­s. Q WHAT’S THE NAUGHTIEST THING HE HAS DONE?

Chew into the sofa when nobody’s home. Q HOW DOES HE REACT WHEN YOU RETURN HOME?

He runs around in excitement and jumps on to you till we pet him. Q WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT HIM?

He is very possessive of me and my mother.

When my mother underwent a bypass surgery, whenever I came home, he felt the sadness and fear and never left my side. Even though he was depressed, he made sure to comfort me in his own way.
