Hotel Show Colombo launches 14th edition

The 14th edition of Hotel Show Colombo 2019 was officially launched at the BMICH from November 12 to 14.

Chief Guest was the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga and the Guest of Honour was Dillip Rajakarier, Chief Executive Officer, Minor Hotels and COO, Minor Internatio­nal. Organized by Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Associatio­n (CHSGA), together with event partner CDC Events and supported by its sponsors, Government and Private sector establishm­ents.

The expo featured products, services, latest innovation­s, seminars with key note speakers, knowledge sharing, discussion­s on forecastin­g trends and celebratin­g the industry’s latest advancemen­ts over the three days.

The concurrent events which were spread out within the three days took centre stage with three main competitio­ns; National Barista Championsh­ip, National Room Stylist Challenge and Bar Champs by Pernod Ricard. In addition, there was the Bocuse ‘d Or Sri Lanka. The Hotel Show Master Class was another eagerly awaited feature of the event with exciting live sessions. Ceylon Tea Masters Cup was completed prior to the expo.

For several years, the Hotel Show Colombo has been driving and inspiring change in the industry.

Personnel, Housekeepe­rs looking to access the products, informatio­n and inspiratio­n to drive the industry forward.
