locate Rajitha. I think they should first search the Prime Minister’s house. There is a travel ban on Rajitha. The CID can trace Rajitha’s whereabouts. If someone like Rajitha can be in a hideout, it means there is some intervention of the government in this matter,’ he said.
When asked about opposition claims that there was political witch-hunt against opposition MPS Mr. Dissanayake said there was some politics involved in this matter rather than calling it a political witch-hunt.
“Some politicians like ministers and state ministers are suddenly released from cases while some others are suddenly arrested. Cases of some others are put off for several years. It is clear that there is some politics behind this,” he said.
