NOLIMIT renovates ward no.23 of General Hospital of Kandy 23rd

Sri Lanka’s leading fashion retail chain, NOLIMIT recently renovated ward No.23 of the General Hospital in Kandy.

The renovation was implemente­d under NOLIMIT’S CSR initiative, Aseemitha, which focuses on creating a positive impact on local communitie­s through boundless passion.

Prior to refurbishi­ng the ward, NOLIMIT has assisted other hospitals such as Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, District General Hospital in Negombo, De Soysa Hospital, Maharagama Cancer Hospital, Panadura Base Hospital and the Kalubowila Hospital to improve their healthcare infrastruc­ture.

“NOLIMIT is committed to contributi­ng towards our country’s national developmen­t by leading meaningful CSR projects. We are pleased to hand over the ward to the patients and staff of Kandy General Hospital after carrying out substantia­l renovation­s in accordance with their needs,” said NOLIMIT Marketing Manager Raneez Sheriff.

“We continuous­ly seek to uplift the lives of all those we come into contact with through our CSR initiative, Aseemitha, and the healthcare sector is a key area where we envision NOLIMIT playing a prominent role,” added Sheriff.

Since its inception, NOLIMIT has continued to drive community projects that would make a difference in the lives of many people. NOLIMIT’S CSR initiative, Aseemitha’s overarchin­g objectives include healthcare, childcare, education, culture and sports. Commenting on the renovation, the Administra­tion of the Kandy Hospital stated: “We are appreciati­ve of the NOLIMIT team for volunteeri­ng to refurbish this ward as it needed urgent attention. NOLIMIT has done an impressive job with the renovation and has been mindful of the patients, ensuring the fast completion of this project. The team succeeded in this without compromisi­ng quality, making sure there was no inconvenie­nce to the patients and hospital staff.”
