MEMBER’S INTERNATIONAL PRINT EXHIBITION IN COLOMBO
Photographic Society of America (PSA) will host a PSA Member’s International Print Exhibition in Colombo from the 8th – 10th February 2020.
“This edition of the Photographic Exhibition, the first of its kind to be held in Sri Lanka, will be ceremonially launched by the Chief Guest of the occasion, Ms. Agatha Anne Bunanta, Vice President for International Relationships in PSA, on the 8th February 2020 at 2.30p.m. at the Lionel Wendt Art Centre, with key personalities from the photographic field from the world over expected to attend”, stated Dr. Vickum Senanayake, Country Liaison Officer & Membership Director of PSA in Sri Lanka.
The exhibition will be open to the general public on the 9th and 10th of February 2020 from 9.00a.m. – 8.00p.m. This edition will feature 100 images, by 93 photographers from 35 countries across 5 continents. Among them will be 22 images by 15 PSA member photographers from Sri Lanka. PSA is a worldwide organisation for anyone with an interest in photography. Founded in 1934, the Society is for casual shutterbugs, serious amateurs, and professional photographers.
Key among the society’s activities are to, promote the art and science of photography as a means of communication, image appreciation and cultural exchange, provide education, information, inspiration and opportunity to all persons interested in photography, foster personal growth and expression, creativity, excellence and ethical conduct in all aspects of photographic endeavour.

PSA has nearly 6000 members including both amateur and professional photographers in over 80 countries.
