HNBA & HNBGI commence ‘Liya Harasara’ to mark International Women’s Day
HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) and its fully owned subsidiary, HNB General Insurance Limited (HNBGI) joined hands together celebrating the spirit of womanhood in Sri Lanka on this year’s International Women’s Day.
Set for the months of February and March for the 8th consecutive year, the annually organized ‘Liya Harasara’ campaign is not just a contemporary salutation for women, but also a strong message of trust, safety and opportunity for women to embrace their role in society, carried across the nation. ‘Liya Harasara’ will offer tailor made insurance plans consisting of numerous benefits for ladies.
Sharing his views on ‘Liya Harasara’, Managing Director/ceo of HNBA and HNBGI, Deepthi Lokuarachchi stated, “The 8thedition of ‘Liya Harasara’ is dedicated to all the females in our society, from being leaders, entrepreneurs, great homemakers and indeed anything and everything they dare to be under the challenging circumstances of the modern day. As such, this is our very own way of paying tribute and gratifying the spirit of womanhood, and through ‘Liya Harasara’ we dearly wish to convey peace of mind about safety for women and investment for a brighter future”.

‘Liya Harasara’ will offer an additional free life cover of up to Rs. 1 million for one year from HNB Assurance for regular Premium Life Insurance policies. Moreover, a daily benefit for child birth and pregnancy related hospitalization subject to maximum of 3 days per year would be offered to the policyholder.
In addition, ‘Liya Harasara’ offers a free Personal Accident Cover up to Rs. 500,000 for every Motor Insurance Policy obtained by females from HNBGI. ‘Liya Harasara’ policy holders will also benefit from a range of special discounts from Durdans Hospitals for selected medical treatments such as a 15 percent discount for Mammogram, a 10 percent discount for both Ultrasound Breast Scan and Pap Smear, a discount of 5 percent from Singer Plus on mobile phone purchases and a discount of 10 percent for other appliances, a discount of 10 percent for purchases that involve spectacles & sunglasses through Vision Care as well as a discount of 15 percent from Fashion Bug. These benefits are subject to terms and conditions.
