CH17 Loyalty, that facilitates the rewards and appreciation programme for healthcare professionals and rapid responders, has appointed PR Wire, the leading strategic public relations and impact relations expert, to handle all communications and stakeholder relations activities supporting a valuable initiative launched in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA), the apex body for the medical professionals in Sri Lanka, has introduced a programme to appreciate the services rendered by the healthcare professionals and all other support staff, both medical and nonmedical, to combat the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic. As a token of appreciation and recognising the efforts of the healthcare sector and the valued contribution made by its staff, the SLMA will be providing a privilege card titled ‘CARE’, which will give every cardholder a host of benefits for their personal and family needs.

The recognition and loyalty scheme, which is exclusively for healthcare professionals such as doctors, specialists, nurses and other executive grade medical staff, plans to enrol retailers and merchants in FMCG (food and non-food), fashion, clothing, footwear, household goods and appliances, banks, insurance, finance and leasing, hotels, cafes, restaurants, dining, entertainment and travel to name a few industries.

“CH17 Loyalty is indeed privileged to have the services of PR Wire, a dynamic and versatile public relations company that fits our way of doing business. Loyalty is part of our DNA. We, at CH17, will not settle until we provide the best for our partners and we have been successful in our journey so far. Stakeholder relations play a pivotal role in any business. We have to settle for the best and we found this character in PR Wire,” CH17 Loyalty CEO Jumar Preena commented.

“CARE is an acronym for Covid-appreciation Respecting Engagement. We invite the entire retail business community to join hands with SLMA in their effort to thank and appreciate all those who have made many sacrifices to ensure the safety and well-being of the community during the past few months and may be for much longer. This programme is unique and is a long-term sustainable initiative that will help the medical staff and their families,” Jumar further added.
