CABINET NOD FOR SINGAPORE TO FOLLOW TRAINING COURSES IN SL
The Cabinet approved to provide one free of charge opportunity and one payment basis opportunity for Singapore to follow Training Courses at the Defence Services Command and Staff College from 2021 onwards.
From 2009 onwards, foreign military officers had been given the opportunity to follow Training Courses free of charge and on payment basis at the Defence Services Command and Staff College for middle grade officers of the three armed forces and the Sri Lanka Police as well as executive officers of state institutions.
Accordingly, 12 training opportunities on payment basis and 30 opportunities free of charge have already been granted to officers from Asian, Middle East, European and African countries. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa presented this proposal to the Cabinet.
