We arranged her the first train journey. She was so excited. But it turned out to be her last journey too as the train mishap in Kegalle killed 16 people including my mother. I married Dasitha Manjula Kaluthota in 1999 and we have 3 children Achira, Sadevna and Chamira,” said Chaminda who donated three standing Buddha statues and seven gold plated fence pillars to the Baddegama Dutugemunu Raja Maha Viharaya and several other temples including the Kanampitiya Sadujana Pushparamaya, Dharmendraramaya Mt.
