ICC’S Oceanfront Condominiums Galle gathers steam to reach completion

-

Highly anticipated luxury residential property, Oceanfront Condominiums Galle by International Construction Consortium (ICC), has resumed construction after the twomonth hiatus and has gathered steam to reach completion.

The project was on track and however, the two-monthlong Police curfew that was imposed islandwide to contain the coronavirus resulted in the unavoidable stoppage of work. With the directive of the government to resume economic activities from mid-may, ICC has resumed constructions of the project by taking the necessary safety precautions and taking strict account of the guidelines laid down by the health authorities.

Construction of OFC Galle kicked off in May 2018 and within the same year in December, the Courtyard reached completion. The first floor of the main building was erected in January 2019; by March, the construction reached the fifth floor and by June, the ninth. By January 2020, all floors were completed and pending was only the interior and the final touches being carried out until the unforeseen lockdown. Oceanfront Condominiums Galle is ICC’S second beachfront project. The expertise in the construction of beach condos for ICC comes from the success of the Oceanfront Condominiums, Nilaveli. The project that reached completion in 2017 was Sri Lanka’s first oceanfront living concept and was an investor favourite, as the financial advantage of owning a condo is very clear with ICC’S rental management system.

ICC being a company that places safety at the core, stands committed in ensuring it fulfils all the necessary requirements to make certain their workers, projects and offices follow the strict guideline imposed to contain the virus.

ICC is one of Sri Lanka’s leading contractors with over 40 years of excellence. Even after this global pandemic, ICC makes sure to deliver its promise by continuing construction to ensure the investor’s safety and expresses confidence in handing over the project by 2021.
