PREMIER ASSURES UNBIASED OPPORTUNITIES TO BUSINESS COMMUNITY

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa last week assured that the SLPP Government will ensure equal opportunities for the members of the business community irrespective of their political and racial affiliations.

Speaking at a forum held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo with the members of the business community, Prime Minister Rajapaksa said that previous government did not accord the opportunity for the business community to attend at discussions.

“There is a vast difference between that era and the present one. We are open to other parties and what they have to say. We always resolve issues through dialogues,” he said.

when we handed over the country in 2014. The value of the rupee had depreciated rapidly during the Yahapalana Government’s tenure.
