BAKED APPLE CARAMEL CHEESECAKE DIP

With the latest news around the island, everyone needs this dip! Yes, it’s not really on your healthy eating meal plan, yes it is going to tip the scales…but it’s almost the end of a crappy year and we just deserve it. Words fail to describe the marriage of the tart, caramelly apple with sweet inviting cheesecake dip. Have it as a pudding, drown your biscuits in it… whatever your method of choice, just try it, you won’t regret it and life with COVID will get better. I promise. This cheesecake dip will help you!

Ingredient­s

● 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, room temperatur­e

● 1/2 c. granulated sugar ● 1/2 c. sour cream

● 1 tsp. vanilla extract ● Chopped green apple

For topping

● 1/2 c. flour

● 3 T. butter melted ● 1/4 c. brown sugar ● Crushed biscuit topping

Instructio­ns

● Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

● In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. ● Beat at medium speed until smooth and creamy. ● Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of a 10 inch pie plate.

● Boil apple with a bit of butter and sugar until mushy and golden.

● In a separate small bowl, combine flour, melted butter, and brown sugar to create streusel topping, add crushed biscuit. ● Sprinkle topping over pie filling.

● Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes. ● Drizzle with caramel topping if so desired.
