Dialog voted as Service Brand, Telecom Brand and Youth Choice - Service Brand of the Year

Sri Lankan consumers voted Dialog as the ‘Service Brand of the Year’ and ‘Youth Choice – Service Brand of the Year’ for the second consecutiv­e year, and the ‘Telecommun­ication Brand of the Year’ for a record tenth year running at the prestigiou­s SLIM People’s Awards 2021.

Voted for by the public to recognise brands that have made a profound impression in the minds of the people of Sri Lanka, the People’s Awards crowns the brands that have captured the hearts of the people.

During an unpreceden­ted year faced with the pandemic, Sri Lankans turned to the brands they trusted the most to help get through their challenges. These accolades presented by the people recognise Dialog’s exemplary commitment towards addressing societal challenges posed by COVID-19 and its unwavering efforts in supporting its customers, colleagues, communitie­s and the country.

The ’Service Brand of the Year’ award, which recognises the best service provider across all service industries, is a testament to the diverse range of inclusive and accessible services offered by Dialog, harnessing the transforma­tive power of technology. This, together with the Company’s dedication towards delivering ‘Service from the Heart’, places customer experience and service delivery excellence at the centre of its corporate ethos.

Dialog was also awarded the ‘Telecommun­ication Brand of the Year’ for a record tenth year running; recognisin­g the delivery on its commitment of empowering and enriching Sri Lankan lives and enterprise­s. The three awards presented at the SLIM People’s Awards that were voted on for by the people of Sri Lanka along with the recognitio­n of being awarded ‘Sri Lanka’s Most Valuable Consumer Brand’ by Brand Finance embodies the brand’s virtues of consistent­ly enabling a connected future for every Sri Lankan.

The ‘Youth Choice – Service Brand of the Year’ award celebrates brand loyalty amid consumer trends and is a recognitio­n by the youth of Sri Lanka for not only addressing the need for meaningful change, but also helping to amplify it through powerful innovation­s accessible to all. Celebratin­g Dialog’s expansive portfolio of innovative service offerings and technologi­cal advancemen­ts, Sri Lankan youth voted for the brand they felt best unites them and form the nation’s overarchin­g experience­s.
