Lanka SSL wins National Gold, Top Ten Awards at CNCI Achiever Awards 2020
Lanka Special Steel Limited (Lanka SSL), a trusted name in wires and a fully-owned subsidiary of E B Creasy & Company PLC, was recently awarded the coveted National Gold award under the extra large category in the manufacturing sector, at Achiever Awards 2020 for Industrial Excellence.
The annual event organised by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) was held on March 26, 2021, in Colombo and celebrated some of the leading industrialists in the country for their tremendous and continued efforts in uplifting and promoting quality standards, productivity, growth and strategy, R&D, employee welfare and others whilst contributing to both society and economy at large.

Lanka SSL also won a Gold award at the very recent National Convention of Quality and Productivity 2020 held by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality and Productivity.
During the latter part of last year, Lanka SSL strengthened its long-standing partnership with TATA Steel Ltd’s Global Wires to further expand its growing portfolio. The company is the sole agent and distributor for all of its premium quality wire products in Sri Lanka. Further, Lanka SSL recently introduced ‘Permaweld’ brand welding electrode for all general purpose welding requirements.
