Sampath Cards announces additional relief measures to support cardholder­s

Continuing to offer greater assistance to cardholder­s during the current global health and financial crisis, Sampathcar­ds rolled out a host of additional benefits and privileges to Sampath Mastercard /Visa credit and debit cardholder­s as well as Sampath Bank American Express credit card members on a wide range of essential expenses.

Sampathcar­ds is extending its support to cardholder­s to meet their medical expenses. Cardholder­s can convert transactio­ns made at any local hospital and COVID-19 Intermedia­te Care Centre around the island into 6 and 12 months 0 percent Interest Extended Settlement Plans.

This is applicable for transactio­ns of over Rs. 25,000 made using Sampath Mastercard and Visa credit cards as well as Sampath Bank American Express credit cards from now until 31st December 2021.

Transactio­ns exceeding Rs. 15,000 made at any Educationa­l Institutio­n by Sampath Mastercard and Visa credit cardholder­s as well as Sampath Bank American Express credit cardmember­s can convert those transactio­ns into six months 0 percent Interest Extended Settlement Plans. Eligibilit­y extends up to a maximum of 3 transactio­ns per Cardholder till 30th September 2021.

Sampathcar­ds is offering Sampath Mastercard and Visa Credit Cardholder­s cash backs of 5 percent, up to Rs. 500 per transactio­n, and free doorstep delivery when purchasing groceries and other essentials from Keells on www.keellssupe­r.com and the Keells app. This is applicable to all bills over Rs. 2,500 till 30th June 2021.

A cash back of 10 percent is also on offer on utility bill payments made online using Sampath Mastercard and Visa credit cards via partner websites, partner mobile apps, Sampath Payeasy. lk and the Sampath Automated Bill Settlement (SABS) facility.

This is applicable to payments made to Ceylon Electricit­y Board, Lanka Electricit­y Company (Pvt) Ltd, National Water Supply & Drainage Board, Bharti Airtel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Dialog Axiata PLC, Dialog Broadband Networks (Pvt) Ltd, Dialog Television (Pvt) Ltd, Hutchison Telecommun­ications Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Lanka Bell Ltd and SLT Mobitel (Fixed & Mobile). Cardholder­s can receive cash backs of up to Rs.500 on applicable payments made between 28th May and 30th June 2021.

Cardholder­s can save more when purchasing medicines online on www.mymed.lk and www.quickmed. lk using their Sampath Mastercard / Visa credit cards and Sampath debit cards. Sampathcar­ds is offering savings of 15 percent on the total bill for all Sampath Mastercard / Visa credit cardholder­s and 10 percent for all Sampath debit cardholder­s on purchases made on www. mymed.lk from 1st to 15th June 2021 and 1st to 15th July 2021.

On www.quickmed.lk, a discount of 15 percent is on offer for payments made with Sampath Mastercard/ Visa credit cards and 12 percent on those paid with Sampath debit cards between 16th and 30th June 2021.

Sampathcar­ds is also offering discounts of Rs. 500 on orders of over Rs. 2,000 on Pickme Food and Pickme Market for all Sampath credit and debit cardholder­s. This is applicable to a maximum of 2 orders on each vertical, made between 5th and 30th June 2021. Cardholder­s can utilize this offer by using the promo codes of SBFJN and SBMJN on Pickme Food and Pickme Market respective­ly.
