Astrue Alpha leads Sri Lankan mutual fund industry with highest rate of return
The active trading strategy and the short-term outlook adopted as a result of high volatility in the equity market have made Asset Trust Management (Pvt) Ltd.’s flagship unit trust fund Astrue Alpha a clear winner in terms of returns to investors.
As per Unit Trust Association of Sri Lanka statistics, Astrue Alpha recorded a return rate of 33.27 percent for the period 1st January 2021 to 31st May 2021—posting the highest rate of return in the country’s unit trust industry.
Similarly, for the full year 2020, Astrue Alpha’s rate of return hit almost 41 percent, cementing its position as one of the foremost mutual funds in the country.
Astrue Alpha is a conduit for individual and institutional investors to access the Colombo Stock Exchange, primarily seeking capital appreciation.
