-

Colombo City Centre, the premier luxury lifestyle destination of Sri Lanka, celebrated its third anniversary recently, having achieved many accomplishments and laurels despite the numerous obstacles and challenging times faced, especially during these three years.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, Colombo City Centre shares its sincere gratitude with shoppers, retail partners and all staff members, for their valuable dedication, commitment and loyalty over the span of the three years, to enable Colombo City Centre reach the pinnacle of success.

Colombo City Centre is a 100 percent Sri Lankan luxury lifestyle complex fully owned by the homegrown corporate powerhouse Abans Group and is one of the most highly acclaimed mixed-use development projects in the commercial capital.

Abans Group Chairperson Aban Pestonjee shared her vision in celebration of the third anniversary.

“In the past, when I went out with my family, I could not find a single suitable place for families to spend time together and enjoy. That’s why I was inspired with the vision for Colombo City Centre, to create a place for the whole family to visit and have good, clean fun while making lasting memories. Seeing this project completed successfully is one of the most memorable achievements in my career, as the Mall at Colombo City Centre was the first international standard shopping mall launched in Colombo, way back in 2018.”

Colombo City Centre rises 50 storeys above the heart of the city, with a state-of-the-art international standard shopping mall, 192 opulent apartments and the recent addition of ‘The Courtyard by Marriott’ hotel, which is planned to be opened soon in 2022.

The Mall at Colombo City Centre is spread across 200,000 square feet of prime retail space and encompasses a plethora of options ranging from world-renowned brands in apparel, watches, footwear, accessories and electronics. Visitors also have the privilege to select from a wide range of entertainment features such as a bowling alley, Cineplex, events centre and gaming arcade, to name a few.

The ‘We Love Safety’ campaign, dedicated towards ensuring the safety of all visitors, will continue after the curfew has been lifted. All important COVID-19 health and safety protocols will be strictly adhered to throughout the entire premises. Safety ambassadors will be mobile in the Mall premises, identifiable by their ‘We Love Safety’ badges, to observe visitors and ensure that they adhere to the safety instructions at all times, so the safety of visitors as well as everyone else is uncompromised.
