The pick of the three matches scheduled to be worked off in Colombo will be the encounter between Wesley and Isipathana slotted to be kicked off at the Sugathdasa Stadium today from 4.15 p.m. onwards.

Wesley led full back Tharusha Jayaweera began their campaign in style when they pulled off a convincing 38 points to 07 win over Vidyartha while Isipathana led by prop forward Nithina Wickramarachchi was made to fight hard before coming out winners by 18 points to 9 against Kingswood.

The two teams are known for their robust approach and in the recent outings between the two sides’ the final outcome has ended in close wins for Isipathana. The Wesleyites will be banking on scrum half Rigesh Muralidaran who had a successful outing against Vidyartha along with prop Hazeez Thabeeth for a repeat performance while Isipathana will depend on skipper Nithina, full back Malith Mihisara, hooker Venura Sangeeth and centre Chamath Iroshan to deliver the goods.
