Sapna Seneviratn­e appointed CEO of Publicis Groupe, Sri Lanka

Publicis Groupe recently announced that it has appointed Sapna Seneviratn­e as CEO, Publicis Groupe Sri Lanka.

This is an elevation for Seneviratn­e and as CEO, she will be spearheadi­ng operations in Sri Lanka on all Groupe agency brands and practices, fortifying capabiliti­es in media, creativity, technology, and data and building up growth on client businesses.

Anupriya Acharya, South Asia CEO, Publicis Groupe said, “Sapna is an incredible leader with good track record on brands and she has deep knowledge and understand­ing of the Sri Lankan marketing landscape, our client relationsh­ips and their evolving requiremen­ts. She is the apt choice to develop talent and strengthen our product, offering and capabiliti­es still further in this market.”

Seneviratn­e has a wide spectrum of experience on some of Sri Lanka’s major brands such as Nestlé, Unilever, Hemas, Crysbro, Fonterra, Sri Lanka Telecom, Sri Lanka Tourism, Sri Lankan Airlines, Comfort, HNB, Union Assurance, Pureit, Mahindra and Colombo City Centre among others. Known for her thought leadership, Seneviratn­e is a much sought-after speaker at Sri Lanka’s marketing and communicat­ions industry events.

Seneviratn­e replaces Sanjay Chaudhari who now moves to Singapore.
