CCC partners with Academics Group to offer Miami Ad School’s Skill-up Programmes

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce announced a partnershi­p with Academics Group, to deliver Miami Ad School’s Skill-up programmes designed to enhance employee skills and drive innovation in the business landscape.

The Ceylon Chamber together with cross-sector education thinktank Academics Group will bring transforma­tive skill-up programmes to profession­al developmen­t and creative excellence in Sri Lanka, delivering programmes designed around the biggest trends to thrive in an everevolvi­ng marketplac­e.

Participan­ts will learn directly from industry leaders and trendsette­rs, who will bring their wealth of experience and global perspectiv­es to deliver unparallel­ed learning experience­s.

Miami Ad School was recognised as the Cannes Future Lions School of the Year 2022, the sixth time it has received this honour at the Cannes Internatio­nal Festival of Creativity, and earned its place among the Top 10 Design and Advertisin­g Schools globally for 2023, by the One Club for Creativity New York.

Since expanding its footprint to Colombo in January 2021, over 100 students have successful­ly graduated from both Strategy and Social Media boot camps and over 500 students have received certificat­es from skill-up programmes, including the Brand Manager Program, Creative Director Programme, Innovation Leadership Programme, Behaviour Change Marketing and many others. This diverse range of programs equips individual­s with the knowledge and expertise necessary to thrive in their respective roles.

Commenting on the collaborat­ion, the CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce stated, “Continued learning and skill developmen­t is vital to stay ahead in today’s dynamic business environmen­t. Joining forces with Miami Ad School, will enable us to bring global education opportunit­ies to the profession­al workforce”.
