Nebula Institute drives transformative educational shift

-

Recognised for offering world-class educational solutions in building Sri Lanka’s knowledge economy, the SLT Training Centre (SLTTC), the education arm of Slt-mobitel, has transformed into the ‘SLT- Mobitel Nebula Institute of Technology’, providing students with a greater competitive edge in becoming future-ready IT and engineering professionals while bolstering the country’s training and educational sector.

The unveiling of the new brand resonates with the theme ‘where stars are born’, providing students with unparalleled opportunities to develop technology and design solutions that tackle global engineering challenges.

The launch was held recently, with CEO SLT Janaka Abeysinghe and SLT- Mobitel senior management also in attendance, together with lecturers, students, and invitees.

For over 20 years, the SLTTC has proven its strength in the higher education sector of the country by opening doors for students to gain knowledge in the main study streams such as engineering, digital technologies, and vocational education and providing a platform to pursue NVQ technician certificates.

Today, the Slt-mobitel Nebula Institute continues this legacy, strengthening the partnerships previously forged with worldclass qualifying bodies, including international universities, the University of Hertfordshire, UK, Pearson (UK), and local institutes such as the Tertiary Vocational Education Centre (TVEC).

Slt-mobitel Nebula Institute of Technology will enable high-quality training courses that go beyond theoretical knowledge, imparting vital practical skills through real-life experiences in the field of ICT. The Nebula Institute offers three convenient locations: Welisara, Moratuwa, and Kandy.
