Message from the President of the Sri Lanka – Canada Business Council
It gives me great pleasure to issue this message of felicitation on the occasion of the Nat i o n a l D ay of Canada. The Sri Lanka – Canada Business Council ( SLCBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce was inaugurated in 1991 with the primary objective of promoting trade, investments, tourism and services between Sri Lanka and Canada and particularly to promote exports from Sri Lanka to Canada. SLCBC with over 45 membership companies serves as a recognized representative of the business sector interests facilitating investment and expanding business relations between Sri Lanka and Canada.
The Council has engaged in various activities which are beneficial to our membership. The council also led a trade and investment promotion mission to Canada in October 2011.
