The University of Ballarat is the 1st Australian University running courses after A Levels till Post Graduation in Sri Lanka. It has been operating its own state-of-the-art Colombo Campus at 502, R. A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 3, in associatio­n with ATMC.

The University of Ballarat offers the MBA in Sri Lanka directly from the University and is a “Full Time” MBA. The University of Ballarat is a five star rated university and in Sri Lanka has been running its modern MBA degree since 2011 with an outstandin­g faculty and moderators comprising the best profession­als in Sri Lanka and Australia.

The Ballarat University MBA comes with a modern curriculum with subjects like Competitiv­e Analysis and Change Management Strategy being key subjects, which have been especially designed based on the current crisis economic climate that the business world needs to operate in. MBA Course Details:

The programme has a combinatio­n (total 12 subjects) of core subjects and electives in the areas of Marketing, Management, Economics and Accounting, and offers specializa­tions in the fields of Finance, Marketing and HR. Optional dissertati­on is available.

The courses are chosen with relevance to the needs of modern day managers and include subjects like Competitiv­e Analysis, Strategy and Change Management, etc. In essence the University of Ballarat MBA programme upgrades functional managers to become strategist­s capable of becoming corporate leaders.

Panel of Lecturers:

All lecturers teaching in the Sri Lanka Campus of the University of Ballarat MBA programme are appointed and assessed by the parent University in Australia. Transfer to Australian Campus:

Students are encouraged to complete their courses in Sri Lanka, but those desirous of seeking transfers to the Australian Campus can do so.

Students can transfer 100% credits from the completed courses in Sri Lanka to the Australian Campus as and when they feel they are ready to pursue their further education in Australia. However, the Australian University fees will apply for studies in Australia.

Special Exemptions:

CIMA and CIM graduates will be permitted as per University procedures to up to four credit exemptions in the course.
