Driving will never be so enjoyable ...

Its time for a fun drive again as The Management Club (TMC) organises its third Annual Fun Rally on Wheels , taking off from Colombo on Saturday 7th July.

This rally will be worked off in a manner that would be a real stress reliever for the participants, who will certainly enjoy this break from their busy corporate lives

With lots of mystery clues based on which the route has to be found, and some interesting questions and brain teasers to tackle on the way this drive is bound to bring out the hidden talents of the participants in a friendly competitive spirit.

The Management Club (TMC), formed in 2002 under the auspices of the Chartered Management Institute, has over the years grown to become a place for professional managers in Sri Lanka to network and interact. Events of the nature of this Fun Rally and regular seasonal gatherings TMC organises, have enabled their members to broaden their groups of networks thus helping them in sharing and gaining from the experiences of one another.

They are planning to end the rally at a location in Kalutara this time but the participants , with the help of their navigators will have to find the destination for themselves based on the clues.

The rally drivers will be free to get their family members and kids to help the navigator in looking for answers to the clues, and they could also take part in the various fun games and surprises that are being planned upon reaching the destination.

There will be music for dancing and a sing along session to the accompaniment of Tony Hopman and his band of musicians while the young and the not so young indulge in some exciting games lined up for the occasion by the organisers

An exciting day to remember for a long time awaits the participants, as the winners of the rally as well as those who do well in the various competitions will receive some attractive gifts.

Mr Damascene Fernando of Classic Car Club fame, who has mapped some interesting routes for TMC’s Fun rallies in previous years, has been requested by the organisers to throw in some new challenges and clues to make it more exciting this year.

A glamourous fashion parade with leading Sri Lankan models will add colour to this exciting event, which is now an annual feature in TMC’s calendar.

Lucas Batteries and Singer Sri Lanka will be TMC ‘s main sponsors of this event which is being co sponsored by Wurth Lanka.
