MSU’S foundation a quick start to a degree

The Management & Science University (MSU) is Malaysia’s top best teaching and learning universiti­es. It provides specialise­d programmes of studies in the areas of medicine, health sciences, business, management, informatio­n sciences, engineerin­g, education and hospitalit­y.

These discipline­s are offered after taking into account the one year r duration that will be spent nt and the student’s state e of preparedne­ss before they begin the first year bachelor r degree studies.

For those who have keen interest in the Health Sciences discipline­s, the Foundation ( Science Biology/ Health Science) is a good option to start with. This is an ideal programme for those interested to become a medical practition­er and to continue with the Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) studies.

The MBBS programme is offered through the MSU I n t e r n at i o n a l M Medical School (I (IMS) at MSU main c campus in M Ma lays ia . Alter Alternativ­ely, students may o opt to pursue the programm programme at MSU’s offshore h campus in Bangalore, India. Alternativ­ely, students may progress into the Bachelor programme in Biomedical Science, Bioinforma­tics, Food Service Technology, Medical Science, Optometry, Nutrition, Forensic Science or Pharmacy at MSU.

Another option is, the Foundation in Informatio­n Technology & Engineerin­g which is designed to meet the escalating demand for highly trained and skilled resources in the areas of sophistica­ted technologi­es. Students who wish to progress to Bachelor degree in Engineerin­g will also required to do Engineerin­g drawing.

Areas of specializa­tion that the students may choose at the Bachelor level at MSU include Computer Forensic, Instructio­nal Multimedia, Games Design and Animation, Informatio­n Systems Auditing, Computer Engineerin­g, Creative Multimedia etc through the Faculty of Informatio­n Sciences & Engineerin­g at MSU.

The Foundation in Business is designed in view of the increasing demand for profession­als in Business Management and Accounting. An area of specializa­tion that the students may choose at the Bachelor level at MSU includes Internatio­nal Business, Accountanc­y, Investment Management, Human Capital Management, Hospitalit­y & Tourism Management and Culinary Arts through the Faculty of Business Management & Profession­al Studies at MSU.

MSU’s internatio­nal link through the Inter national Student Exchange Programme ( ISEP) unit with the University of Newcastle, Australia and Coventry University, United Kingdom, will provide a priceless internatio­nal exposure with the best in the industry.

Through ISEP students may choose one of over fourty (40) universiti­es located in the USA, UK, Australia, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Japan, New Zealand, India, and Indonesia to complete their degrees. The opportunit­y to study at these universiti­es will further enrich the student’s developmen­t and enhances their standings for a better career prospect.

The emphasis on programmed which are industry relevant has always been MSU central tenets. A symbiosis between academic curriculum and industrial shifts has been crucial in determinin­g the relevancy of its product to current trends. Such response to change has resulted in 95% of MSU’s graduates securing employment during the first 6 months upon graduation.
