First-ever Hospitality trade fair by CDC Events in Seychelles

Sri Lanka’s CDC Events and Travels Ltd, in a bid to explore the virgin business market in Seychelles, is hosting Food and Hotel Seychelles 2014 (FHS), the firstever international food and hotel supplies exhibition in Seychelles in the first week of November.

The main objective of FHS is to facilitate trade between the exhibitors from all over the world offering products and services needed by world class resorts and the hotel industry of Seychelles. "There are 400 hotels in that country and in addition the country is also the main point of transit to the African sub continent. Hence the exhibition would give Sri Lankan entrepreneurs the opportunity not only to enter the Seychelles market but also to seek liai- sons with neighbouring countries like Madagascar and Mauritius," said Imran Hassan Managing Director of CDC Events, adding: "FHS will act as a meeting ground and an ideal platform for all the local and international food and hotel suppliers to meet the resort personnel on a one to one basis during the event”.

Seychelles has a visa on arrival policy while Mihin Air has direct flights to that destination.
