When local leaders start accepting a "holistic leadership framework", they will become more effective at enhancing business performance, according to Jayantha Fernando, the Founder / Chief Executive Officer at TAS Coaching and Consulting Sri Lanka.

Making this comment on the occasion of the local launch of the 'Leadership Circle' range of assessment and workshop services, for which he was one of the parties responsible, he also noted, "(to) be able to address the challenges of complexity and adapt to the constantly changing environment it is not enough to develop competencies alone, but also to bring about a shift in the leader's consciousness".

Meanwhile, per the launch announcement, the “company’s flagship offering, The Leadership Circle Profile, is a robust 360-degree personal leadership assessment process that is designed to accelerate leadership effectiveness beyond traditional competency-based approaches. The Leadership Circle Profile is the only 360-degree competency assessment that simultaneously provides focused competency feedback while revealing the underlying assumptions that create a leader’s pattern of strengths and limitations. The Leadership Circle Profile helps leaders understand the relationship between how they habitually think, how they behave, and, more importantly, how all this impacts their current level of leadership effectiveness”. “The Leadership Circle’s differential advantage is that it has the ability to under- stand the nuances of a company’s culture and the challenges that senior executives face, combined with the application of a core methodology in a customised fashion. It delivers both short term and long term coaching results based on the company’s needs", it further noted.

Additionally, the announcement indicated that a "Leadership Circle Profile certification is already scheduled from Wednesday through Friday, September 24-26, 2014, in Singapore. Each certification is a three-day program in which individuals with executive coaching experience can be certified to administer The Leadership Circle assessments, provide debriefing, and support follow-through coaching for managers and leaders".

"We now recognise that leadership is a process of transformation whereby a leader is encouraged to make a profound shift - to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, the world, and their relationship to others. This deeper, longer term work is what our Leadership Circle Profile brings to the table, what The Leadership Circle stands for, and this is the kind of work we invite organisations to experience", said Bob Anderson, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at The Leadership Circle, also adding, "(we’re) pleased to extend our suite of best-in-class leadership assessments and workshops to this part of the world".
